Here is a crankshaft from a 1996 polaris ultra 680 that lost a piston and took out a cylinder, all bearing feel good except the pto bearing, still in working order, but feels gritty, also slides off, will need replaced, rod bearings feel good on the lower end, i tryed to put a needle bearing in the top of the rod, it goes in but tight, it smcked around a while before it stopped running, i feel confident if you replaced the pto end bearing and dremmled the very edges of the rod opening where the needle bearing and piston pin go in to allow smooth entry, it would be good to go for many more good miles of sweet riding, good price for the conditon, may fit other years as well.
