1997 POLARIS INDY ULTRA SPX SE, engine serial #9701867, model #H975678, serial # 3162764, one owner sled bought new on SEPT. 10 1996 from SPORT WORLD in SCHOFIELD, WI. This was my brother in laws sled, he owns a Harley shop here in Indiana and he bought a couple of these Polaris’ to ride up north. He stored them in an enclosed trailer and had his mechanics service them each season, but as you can see by mileage, he rarely got away, so he sold to me. I drained tank, checked in tank line, cleaned carbs and put some new fuel lines and filter and she fired right up and idles smoothly. BEAUTIFULL example of “OLD SCHOOL MUSCLE” Triple cylinder, triple carbs, triple exhaust, 679 cc, about as close to showroom condition as you will find. Has every bell and whistle of the time: hand and thumb warmers, speedometer with tripometer, tach, electric fuel gauge, and temp gauge, purple metal flake paint, plastic skis, no studs in track. Sled is exactly what I am describing and what pictures are showing. If you buy this sled and for any reason do NOT want it when you come to pick up, I will refund the 100.00 deposit and give you positive feedback.
