If you follow my auctions you know I have been selling used ATV’s on eBay for over 12 years and find nice used machines to sell weekly. I have been making a concerted effort to find good reliable 4×4 ATV’s that I can sell for less than $2000 since every one I have listed has sold for the buy it now price and many people seem to be looking for machines in this price point since the economy is slow. (plus these machines can do everything a $6000 machine can do) I bought this Arctic Cat 300 this week and even though it has a broken rear fender-it is a bargain at the price I listed it. If you know anything about Arctic Cats you know that they are the “other” ATV built in the good ‘ol USA (POlaris being the other) They are huge rivals and are both from Minnesota. Cat and Suzuki are partially attached and a lot of Cats have Suzuki engines in them-and this 300 has the legendary Suzuki “King Quad” drivetrain. If you have been around any time in the ATV world the King Quads are legendary for their agile fully independent suspension engine/transmission/drivetrain. They have an automatic clutch with a 5 speed transmission and 3 range transfer cast to choose from. You can walk faster than low range! They will go anywhere, are smooth and quiet and last forever. The Cat puts them in a larger chassis with independent suspension and long travel shocks for an ultra smooth ride and huge racks and a hitch to pull a trailer. I have a Cat 250 with the same drivetrain (and a smaller bore in the cylinder) that is always the machine of choice when the nephews come over. They are tough as nails, have a long seat for more than on rider and just plain fun to ride. The orange one I have listed has the right rear mud flap missing and the fender is cracked. A fender is easy to replace but the extra $150 would mean that I would then have over the magic $2000 in it and I would rather sell it for less to the guy who wants a nice used machine at a bargain price. Here it is! I am listing it with a buy it now of only $1995 with NO RESERVE. I am happy to deliver it to either location for free or an extra 100 miles for $100.
